If you do not choose to continue after the free trial, no subscription charge is made. Your access may pause while your data remains preserved consistent with this policy. If a new Founding Builder later cancels and returns after the Founding Builder offer has ended, the then-current VantageSpan price may apply unless separate legacy terms apply to that account.
Legacy Returning Builder Who Completed the Original Commitment
- May choose current Founding Builder monthly billing at $99/month or annual billing at $990/year while the Founding Builder offer remains available
- No new six-month commitment
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the selected paid billing period
A Builder who has already completed the original six-month commitment is never placed into another six-month commitment merely because they resubscribe. The billing choice available when they return is governed by the offer then available to that account.
Billing
No payment method is collected to start the free trial. If you choose to continue with paid VantageSpan after the trial, subscription fees are billed in advance through Stripe at the billing interval you select. Monthly service is $99/month. Annual service is $990/year and renews automatically each year unless canceled before the renewal date. You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. Applicable taxes, if any, are added where required.
For annual subscriptions, VantageSpan is designed to send courtesy renewal reminders roughly 30 days, 14 days, and 2 days before the next annual renewal. These notices do not replace your responsibility to manage your subscription before the renewal date.
Failed Payments and Suspension
If a payment fails, you may receive notices and the payment may be retried. You may have an opportunity or grace period to resolve the problem before access is affected. If a payment issue is not resolved, your access to the Service may be suspended. We do not promise a fixed grace-period length in this policy; the actual behavior is described in the Service where applicable.
Cancellation
During the 10-Day Free Trial
No payment method is required for the trial, so there is nothing to cancel to avoid a charge. If you do not choose to continue with paid service, no subscription fee is charged and access may pause when the trial ends.
Paid Monthly Service
Cancellation is effective at the end of your then-current monthly billing period. You retain access through the end of that paid period unless your account is separately suspended under the VantageSpan Terms, and you will not be charged for another monthly billing period after cancellation takes effect.
Paid Annual Service
Annual service is billed in advance and automatically renews each year at the applicable annual rate unless canceled before the renewal date. If you cancel, you retain access through the end of the annual period already paid, subject to the VantageSpan Terms, and the next annual renewal will not be charged.
Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable, except for verified billing errors, circumstances expressly approved by VantageSpan, or where required by applicable law. This policy is not intended to be punitive. If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact us at support@vantagespan.app.
Data Preservation
If your subscription is suspended or canceled under ordinary circumstances, your project and customer data is preserved and may be restored when you resubscribe. We do not promise indefinite retention of data after a subscription ends.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will indicate the Effective Date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
